In Fall 2025, therapist Trey Duckett led MCC couples through a weekend marriage retreat designed to help partners step away from daily demands and refocus on their relationship.
The retreat, held at a beautiful lakefront home, offered engaging relationship talks, guided exercises, and opportunities for reflection that encouraged couples to rekindle connection and strengthen cooperative communication within their marriage. Each couple also participated in a private 45-minute session with Trey to tailor the weekend experience to their unique needs and goals for growth.
We are grateful for our growing partnership with MCC and look forward to continued collaboration that supports healthy marriages and resilient families within the community.
Couples Feedback:
“It gave us healing that we didn’t even know we needed.”
“The retreat overall was a very encouraging experience.”
“[The couples] didn’t want to leave. Nobody was hurrying to get home. They wanted it to continue. They sat around the table and talked about how they were going to fund this for the next group even if they did not get to attend. They wanted every couple they knew to have the chance of experiencing what they had experienced. It was beautiful.”
